Benedek Films was founded in 2006 by Stephen Benedek and Mario Fallone of Benedek Investment Group. Based in Manhattan, Benedek Films looks to make intelligent, high quality movies.

 

Benedek Films produced “Grace is Gone,” which stars John Cusack. The film won the Sundance Film Festival’s® Dramatic Audience Award and the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award for Outstanding Achievement in dramatic writing. The company is also involved in a number of additional films including “Diminished Capacity” starring Matthew Broderick, Virginia Madsen, and Alan Alda as well as “Bart Got A Room” starring William H. Macy and Cheryl Hines. “Diminished Capacity” premiered at the Sundance Film Festival® in January 2008 and opened the Gen Art® Film Festival that April. “Diminished Capacity” is scheduled to be released in theatres on July 4, 2008. “Bart Got A Room” premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival® in April 2008.
