A. Richard Benedek serves as Chairman and Managing Director of Benedek Investment Group. Mr. Benedek has been involved in finance for over 40 years. He worked at Bear Stearns & Co. from 1966 to 1973 as an Arbitrage Partner. At Bear Stearns, Mr. Benedek's responsibilities included M&A arbitrage, option, preferred stock, and convertible bond trading. For 22 years, he owned and served as Chief Executive Officer of Benedek Broadcasting Corporation, one of the largest owners of television stations in the United States. In 2002, Mr. Benedek sold his business to a New York Stock Exchange listed company. He has previously served as a Director of the National Association of Broadcasters, the organization which represents the broadcast industry on Capital Hill. Mr. Benedek holds a B.S. from the Wharton School of Business, and an OPM certificate from Harvard Business School. He is a Benefactor of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and is himself a passionate art collector.
Stephen D. Benedek serves as a Managing Director of Benedek Investment Group. At Benedek Investment Group, Mr. Benedek works on venture capital, film, and real estate transactions. Mr. Benedek, along with Mario Fallone, co-founded Benedek Films in 2006. Previously Mr. Benedek was a Board Member and Vice President of Planning and Development for Benedek Broadcasting Corporation, one of the largest owners of television stations in the United States. At Benedek Broadcasting, Mr. Benedek's responsibilities included finance, launching cable channels, and overseeing alternative investments and partnerships. He has also held positions at Goldman Sachs & Co. and at Shearman & Sterling. He currently serves as Chairman of Broadcast Interactive Media, a technology and service provider to television and radio stations. Mr. Benedek graduated from Stanford University with Honors and Distinction, and holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
Mario C. Fallone is a Vice President at Benedek Investment Group. Mr. Fallone joined Benedek Investment Group in 2003. At Benedek Investment Group, Mr. Fallone works on venture capital, film, and real estate transactions. Mr. Fallone, along with Stephen Benedek, co-founded Benedek Films in 2006. Previously, Mr. Fallone worked as an associate in the London office of Allen & Overy. Mr. Fallone graduated from Hamilton College, summa cum laude, and holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
Timur Yarnall is an Associate at Benedek Investment Group. Mr. Yarnall currently oversees Broadcast Interactive Media. Prior to joining Benedek Investment Group, Mr. Yarnall was Co-Founder and Vice President of Business Development of Clickability, Inc, a leading provider of Web Content Management solutions. There he led efforts in establishing relationships with CNN, Time Magazine, the Wall Street Journal Interactive and 140 other Web sites that currently utilize Clickability's solutions. He has previously held positions at Hughes Space and Electronics and Network Software Associates. Mr. Yarnall holds a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University. |
